Every year, since 2009, the International Conference of Young Scientists and Students "Modern Equipment and Technologies in Scientific Research" has been held at the Research Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Bishkek (RS RAS). In 2025, the Seventeenth "Molodezhka" was held: the event was held from April 23 to 25, 2025 in a hybrid format and brought together about 70 participants from Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. The main goals pursued by the organizers of the event are to improve the level of scientific research and expand the scientific horizons of young scientists and students, integrate science and education, develop the creative activity of young scientists, and popularize scientific research conducted by RS RAS.
The conference operated in a hybrid mode: oral in-person reports and online presentations were presented during the sectional sessions. Let us recall that the main scientific areas of the event cover a wide thematic range and allow participants to present the results of scientific research in the field of Earth sciences and ecology (sections "Comprehensive geological and geophysical studies of seismically active regions" and "Natural and man-made hazards"), as well as mechanics, physics, mathematics and other natural and technical areas (section "Interdisciplinary reports").
On April 25, the closing day of the Conference, a plenary session was held, as well as a number of scientific and technical overview excursions, which included familiarization of participants with the main areas of scientific activity of Research Station.
The Conference Proceedings collection, where full-text materials of the reports will be published, is planned for publication in autumn 2025. The Conference Proceedings collections are registered in the Book Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic and are also indexed in the information and analytical system RINTS (https://elibrary.ru/).
