Since 2009 the territory of Research Station RAS is a suitable site for field geological practice conducting by the students of Kyrgyz – Russian Slavic University, specialized in “Complex use and conservation of water resources”.

During practice in the territory of RS RAS and its close environment students have an opportunity to make hydrogeological observations of springs and study various forms of exogenic processes: physical and chemical weathering, gravitational and water-gravitational processes (landslides and creeping). They can observe the effects of underground waters work (suffusion) as well as surface waters work (rainwash, temporary streams, flow and ravine erosion) and constant streams (Alamedin River and its feeders).
