On the Day of Russian Science, the Russian House in Bishkek hosted a meeting of representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo, the Supreme Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the staff of the Research Station of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Bishkek.
Albert Zulkharneev, Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Kyrgyz Republic, made a welcoming speech. In his speech, he congratulated those present on the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences and showed a historical video about the establishment of the first department in the building of the Kunstkamera in St. Petersburg. Then A. Zulkharneev reminded that one of the main directions of Rossotrudnichestvo activiry is to support Kyrgyz citizens in enrollment in Russian universities on a grant basis. Then the floor was given to the projects of the Supreme Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Kyrgyz Republic. Among the representatives the Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Kyrgyzstan Zhailoo Mamytbekov spoke first, and then a young scientist Altynbek Akzholov, who in 2015 graduated from Tyumen Industrial University and then took a refresher course in the innovation center "Skolkovo". Leading Researcher, Acting Head of the Laboratory of Deep Magnetotelluric Studies of RS RAS Elena A. Bataleva presented the report "Research Station of RAS in Bishkek is a forpost of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the field of Earth Sciences in Central Asia", in which she told about the fundamental research conducted by the RS RAS. The report highlighted the main results of research in the Tien Shan for 45 years of RS RAS activity, showed the stages of development - from an expedition to a full-fledged research scientific organization of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Russia. During the report the main projects of international cooperation were demonstrated, the results of publishing activities and patent base (results of intellectual activity), the work of the joint department with KNU, as well as the existing opportunities for industrial and educational practices for students of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic were presented.
At the meeting E.A. Bataleva was presented a congratulatory address to the name of RS RAS Director A.K. Rybin.
At the same time in the Kyrgyz-Russian (Slavic) University the discussion "Interstate scientific and educational cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia: prospects and priorities of development" was held, where the Head of Laboratory of Complex Investigations of RS RAS Sanzhar A. Imashev made a report.
